Easy commutes

The Newport PATH Station at 90 Town Square Place provides quick and easy access, for quick commutes into Manhattan or New Jersey destinations, including a link to the Newark Airtrain. This ADA Accessible station provides 24-hour service, weekdays and weekends. The Hoboken PATH station is also walking distance, and convenient. In addition, the Newport Light Rail Station located at the Newport Centre Mall connects New Jersey's waterfront and communites up and down the Hudson. 

Transportation Options

The addition of several ferry stops makes crossing the Hudson River easier than ever. NY Waterway has several stops including one at the Hoboken NJ Transit Terminal and a second at Paulus Hook, with service to and from downtown and midtown Manhattan.

Numerous bussing options provide above-ground transportation to and from Newport. With dozens of bus stops at centralized locations throughout the community, local and express busses provide a fantastic travel alternative.

Citibike 

The addition of three CitiBike stations within Newport (at Newport Green Park, Newport PATH station, and Hamilton Park) means residents can enjoy a scenic ride along the esplanade, or an eco-conscious commute. Over two dozen bike routes throughout Newport and the surrounding areas make it easier than ever to see the neighborhood, stay active, and get where you're going.
